Republic wanted to use the concept of an artist's studio as an interesting way to sell their bikes. It began with the names of the new models which include, "GSTN", "RTHKO", and "NWMN". 
In order to avoid a generic "stock photo" interpretation of an art studio, we incorporated a super hero comic theme that their target audience could identify with. 
The end result was a brand of "super bikes" that empower urban dwellers with freedom and invincibility.
