ALCHEMICA
This is a fictional branding package for a trendy mixology bar. I've had a lifelong subtle desire to own and operate some kind of social establishment. This project allowed me to explore what that establishment might look like. Being naturally drawn to animals, chaos magick, medieval history and psychedelics, I wanted to blend all those interests as a way to formulate a totally unique environment.
I began by scanning antique biological illustrations from the 16th Century and exchanged heads, limbs, and other anatomical features to create a chimera mascot. Once that little bunny-monkey-eyeball character was realized, he basically led the way throughout the rest of the project.
